Under the direction and guidance of a preceptor, the goal of nursing is to assist individuals with disability and/or chronic illness to attain and maintain maximum function.

The rehabilitation staff nurse assists clients in adapting to an altered lifestyle, while providing a therapeutic environment for clients' and their families' development. The rehabilitation staff nurse designs and implements treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and that promote physical, psychological, and spiritual health.

New Grad Open House.

Casa Colina will begin its New Graduate RN Program in March 2025. All applications must be submitted by 10pm on February 6, 2025  

Casa Colina will host a New Grad Open House. We will have two different times to choose from on the following date:

Thursday, February 6th 9:00am-11:00am and 7:00pm-9:00pm

Qualifications

Requirements of the position include:

• Current and valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Must obtain California RN license by March 2025
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program.
