Registered Nurse I/II and Nurse Extern – Regular and Per Diem
This posting is designed to recruit both new and experienced Registered Nurses in all specialties, and also Per Diem Nurse Externs in various departments.
Qualifications
Per Diem Nurse Extern:
- Requires current enrollment in an accredited Registered Nurse program and within 3 months of graduation OR Recently graduated from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certificate
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in California and successful completion of unit related competencies is required within 6 months of hire date.
- Successful completion of the Health Care Agency Pharmacology examination within three (3) months of employment into either one of those positions.
Registered Nurse I/II - Regular and Per Diem:
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California, or Registered Nurse licensure in another state with California licensure pending.
- Must have a current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification by first day of employment.
- Successful completion of the Health Care Agency Pharmacology examination within three (3) months of employment is mandatory for assignments within the Health Care Agency.
- Depending upon area of assignment, additional specialty experience and/or certification(s) may be required.
