Trauma Performance Improvement Nurse Coordinator
Under the direction of the Trauma Program Manager (TPM), the Trauma Performance Improvement (Pl) Coordinator supports the needs and operations of the Trauma Program. The Pl Coordinator is responsible for oversight and coordination of quality and performance needs of the Trauma Service. The Pl Coordinator works closely with the Trauma Registrars for collection and abstraction of trauma patient data to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations of the Trauma Registry.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- Requires three (3) years professional registered nursing experience in inpatient care, with a background in trauma care.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California.
- Must have a current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification by the first day of employment.
DESIRED:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) with an emphasis on emergency and/or critical care.
